President & Director
Jennie Scalfano brings more than 30 years of experience in coordinating and supervising versatile aspects of corporate interest to her position as President & Director of Duphil, Inc. In addition to her position at Duphil, she serves as Vice-President and Director of Odom Building Company, Inc.; Manager of Odom Interest; Vice-President and Director of Ta Lo Company, Inc.; and Vice President of Moore-Odom Wildlife Foundation, Inc.
Scalfano’s responsibilities include managing and reviewing all activities for Duphil as well as the other business entities she oversees. These responsibilities include overseeing the preparation of financial statements including detail analysis of all balance sheets, income, expense accounts, and calculating tax estimates; maintaining working capital projections; supervising and coordinating with CPA on outside audits and performing internal audits; handling all legal, insurance and banking matters; coordinating internal computer systems for all accounting functions including royalty accounting, fixed asset accounting, land accounting, easement and right of ways and management reporting; and overseeing the preparation of all federal and state tax returns. In addition, she is responsible for mineral and surface management of 100,000+ acres, negotiating terms for oil, gas and mineral leases, pipeline right of ways, road right of ways, servitudes and lease and rental agreements.
After attending Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, Scalfano has also undergone a substantial amount of professional training. She has attended nearly a dozen seminars covering a wide range of business skills, office management and accounting topics. In addition, she has completed more than 20 safety and human resources training courses.
Scalfano is a member of a number of prominent professional organizations including the American Associates of Professional Landmen, National Association of Royalty Owners, Inc., Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association, Louisiana Oil and Gas Association, and Ducks Unlimited.
